InstaMAT Integrations Update: Up-to-Date, Auto-Synced, and Easier to Use
This InstaMAT integrations release focuses on three core areas: more predictable update behavior, stronger reliability across installations, and support for the latest DCC versions. Together, these changes make InstaMAT easier to operate in production environments and more consistent across Blender, Unreal Engine, Maya, and 3ds Max.
Smarter and More Consistent Update Behavior
Across all integrations, you can now set a default Update Type for new graph instances, enabling graphs to start in preview mode for faster execution and iteration, improving workflow efficiency.
Graphs modified in InstaMAT Studio now automatically update after restarting the host application. This eliminates manual re-syncing and ensures material instances remain consistent across sessions and represents a significant boost to workflow reliability.
Improved Robustness: Installation Paths and Licensing
This release improves how integrations handle changes to the InstaMAT Studio installation path, reducing friction when upgrading or relocating installations.
Floating license handling has also been improved across all integrations, with clearer and more informative popup messages when a license is unavailable making setup and troubleshooting easier.
