InstaMAT 2026 Preview: Curves and More!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Stuttgart, Germany – 4th March 2026

Abstract, a deep-tech company pioneering cutting-edge 3D and AI technology solutions, announces the upcoming release of InstaMAT 2026, a major update focused on advancing artist-driven asset texturing for modern 3D production. Launching on March 10th, the update introduces Curves Brushes, radial symmetry painting, expanded mesh effects, and much more. With these additions, studios can build even more expressive and precise procedural texturing workflows that scale consistently across entire asset categories.

What’s Coming:

InstaMAT 2026 introduces Curves Brushes, a new class of brush built on Bezier curves that gives artists precise, expressive control over strokes across complex surfaces. Combined with new radial symmetry support and a lazy radius option, the painting toolkit takes a meaningful step forward for artists working at scale.

The update also expands the mesh effects library with new processing and masking nodes, improves baking quality with scale-independent curvature and an enhanced Bevel baker, and adds a range of refinements across the viewport and layering system. A full breakdown will follow at launch.

With these updates, InstaMAT 2026 continues to build the most powerful and complete package for 3D content creation, giving artists and studios everything they need to deliver at scale.
