The latest InstaMAT integrations update delivers a wide range of refinements across Blender, Unreal Engine, Autodesk Maya and 3ds Max. With optimized performance, improved memory efficiency, and user interface enhancements, this release focuses on making material authoring faster, more stable, and more intuitive inside every supported application.

InstaMAT for Blender

This update brings performance and usability improvements to InstaMAT for Blender. Graph execution now consumes less memory, while emissive material setup has been fine-tuned for greater accuracy. The user interface has been improved — including the experience when working with grayscale image inputs, the Blender native translator now handles interface text correctly, and instance names can include special characters. The update also adds the ability to authorize with a different account when locked by a floating license, making license management more flexible in various working environments.

InstaMAT for Unreal Engine

InstaMAT for Unreal Engine continues to evolve with better performance and workflow consistency. Graph execution is more memory-efficient, emissive previews no longer show banding artifacts, and the import graph button is now reliably responsive. The Library Browser gains improved filtering for InstaMAT graphs, helping users locate assets more efficiently. This update also adds support for reauthorizing accounts under floating license conditions, aligning Unreal Engine’s integration with the broader InstaMAT ecosystem.

InstaMAT for Autodesk Maya

This release significantly boosts responsiveness in InstaMAT for Autodesk Maya. The Library Browser now starts up much faster, and image handling within graphs has been refined for better color accuracy. The interface has also been streamlined; clicking a menu entry now focuses the window instead of reopening it, layout spacing has been improved, and the default path in the User Paths list is now clearly displayed. Combined with improved graph memory usage, these enhancements create a smoother authoring experience within Maya.

InstaMAT for Autodesk 3ds Max

InstaMAT for Autodesk 3ds Max receives a major set of quality and usability updates. The Library Browser launches more quickly, instances automatically load when opening new files, and reset buttons are now available for all input parameters. Visual and interaction improvements include updated icons, reorganized menu entries, easier instance renaming, and a cleaner, more responsive interface. The update also adds support for multiple texture execution formats, single-click input panel access, and more accurate search results from the Instances window list.
